About Me
Hi, I'm Ellen Taylor. I'm an Accountability Coach for Health and Wellness focusing on Diet and Nutrition for women 39+ years young who need help getting back on track with their wellness, energy, structure, and activity.
I'm a Certified Professional Life Coach and Certified Health and Nutrition Life Coach offering 1:1 and group coaching.
My experience includes coaching clients with fitness routines and creating meal plans for better nutrition and weight loss. I started weight training in high school and have been athletic since I was seven when I started playing soccer. Since then, I've played softball, tennis, and women's soccer in my 30's. Today I work out 3-5 times a week with my coaches to improve and sustain my health for the long-term.
Additionally, I've trained numerous engineers and coworkers on different software applications, offered leadership and coaching in a variety of volunteer activities, and hold an MSEd from Duquesne University.

In February 2024, at 59 I finally said, "THIS IS SUCH BULLSHIT AND I’VE HAD ENOUGH!". I committed myself to getting back in shape, eating a healthy, energizing diet, STAYING IN SHAPE and living my best life. I hired my own coaches - who I continue to learn from, and I feel better than ever! I’ve identified my triggers and stressors then learning how to reprogram my thought patterns to ignore them.
Even though I've always been athletic and active, yo-yo dieting has been something I just "dealt with". I've used a bunch of different diets and programs on the market. Some with success, and some not so much. The biggest problem I faced was "falling off the diet wagon" and eating something that crashed my efforts. I always thought, "I'll do better at my next meal", or "tomorrow will be different". It was, and then it wasn't off and on. I was SO frustrated because I had the tools but didn't apply them.
In 2019 I worked with the incredible female IFBB professional bodybuilder and trainer, Lee Keyrouz, who I met on Facebook. I lost 53 lbs in under 1 year while with her. Her training consisted of intense workouts, a clean diet, weekly weigh-ins, and IT GAVE ME AN ACCOUNTABILITY PARTNER! It was exactly what I needed.
Unfortunately, after I stopped training with her because of letting distractions creep in – you know what I mean – skipping a workout because you don’t feel like it, skipping meals, or having an unhealthy snack and lying to yourself that you’ll “do better at the next meal”, I started putting it all back on. In late 2020 my dad became ill, and the stress eating started again. We lost him a year later, and I stayed at that weight until Feb 2024 when I started working out with my current coaches.
Growing old gracefully and needing help getting up from the couch aren't negotiable for me.

I know what you're going through because I've been there. I will share everything I've learned with you and help you cut through the obstacles and set-backs!
